Gegužės 3 d., penktadienį, 18 val., LDS galerijoje „Arka“ atidaroma Eglės Eininkytės-Narkevičienės paroda „Ribos“, tęsianti ankstesnius žmogaus ir aplinkos santykį apmąstančius kūrybinius tyrinėjimus.

Instaliatyvioje parodoje eksponuojamos naujausios skulptūrinės kompozicijos, kuriose – abstrahuotos, tačiau dar vis žvilgsniu užčiuopiamos žmogaus figūros, dinamiškai tįstančios erdvėje. Kurdama didelio mastelio ir sudėtingumo objektus, autorė plečia keramikos kaip žanro tiek materialųjį, tiek konceptualųjį elastingumą.

Kūrėja jautriai reaguoja į krizę išgyvenantį ir įvairių išbandymų drebinamą pasaulį, skenuoja globalias žmonijos problemas, svarsto pandemijos, karų sukeliamų padarinių įtaką individui. Kiekvieno mūsų patiriamas nerimo, nestabilumo, bejėgiškumo, beprasmybės jausmas skatina atsigręžti į žmogaus prigimtį, įsiklausyti į vidines būsenas, fiksuoti akimirkų patirtis. Būdama keramike, kūrėja svajojo nuvykti į porceliano šalį – Kiniją, kuri dėl konfliktų sąlygotų ribojimų, jau užsivėrė. Tad parodoje pristatomi ir (ne)įgyvendinti sumanymai tarptautiniam simpoziumui, kurie tarsi neišsipildęs lūkestis užrakinamas dabartyje.

Kūriniai referuoja pusiausvyrą ir (ne)stabilumą, laikinumo ir amžinumo sankirtą, per sakralinę perspektyvą jais apmąstomas gyvenimo ir mirties sąsajumas, teritorinės bei asmeninės saugumo ribos. Kompozicijos kupinos metaforų ir elementų, bylojančių apie nūdienos trapumą ir pasimetimą. Fiziškai apčiuopiamoje medžiagoje autorė įtaigiai perteikia skubančios tikrovės slinktis, o balansuodamas ties liminalia būsena bei ieškodamas šviesos ir teisybės, žiūrovas gali pajusti srūvantį laiką. Bendražmogiškos temos jungia kūrinius į vientisą ekspoziciją, kurioje plastiški objektai nardinami ryškiose, lyg aksominėse spalvose. Atribodama dalį erdvės (įsi)vaizduojamo saugumo sukūrimui, menininkė kuria glaudų santykį tarp vidinių ir išorinių tikrovių, atsiveriančių skvarbiam žiūrovo patyrimui.

Paroda yra Lietuvos dailininkų sąjungos ir galerijos „Arka” kūrybinės programos dalis. Organizacijos strateginę veiklą finansuoja Lietuvos kultūros taryba.

On Friday, 3 May, at 6 pm, Eglė Eininkytė-Narkevičienė’s exhibition „Boundaries“ will open at the LDS gallery „Arka“. It is a continuation of her previous creative explorations of the relationship between human beings and environment.

The installation features recent sculptural compositions that feature abstracted, yet still graspable human figures, dynamically weaving through space. By creating objects of large scale and complexity, the artist expands the material and conceptual flexibility of ceramics as a genre.

Artist is sensitive to a world in crisis and shaken by various trials, scanning the global problems of humanity, considering the impact of pandemics and the effects of war on the individual. The feelings of anxiety, instability, helplessness and meaninglessness that we all experience encourage us to turn to human nature, to listen to our inner states, to capture the experience of moments. As a ceramicist, she dreamt of going to China, the country of porcelain, which has already closed its doors due to the restrictions caused by conflicts. The exhibition therefore also presents the (un)realised ideas for the international symposium, which, like an unfulfilled wish, are locked in the present.

The works refer to balance and (in)stability, the intersection of the temporary and the eternal, and through a sacred perspective they reflect on the interconnectedness of life and death, the limits of territorial and personal security. The compositions are full of metaphors and elements that speak of the fragility and lostness of today. The artist powerfully conveys the scrolls of a rushing reality in a physically tangible material, and by balancing on a liminal state and searching for light and justice, the viewer can feel the flow of time. Common human themes unite the works into a seamless exposition, where objects are immersed in bright, velvet-like colours. By allocating a part of the space to the creation of (im)represented security, the artist creates a close relationship between inner and outer realities, which open up to the viewer’s penetrating experience.

The exhibition is a part of the creative programme of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association and Arka Gallery. The organization’s strategic activities are funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
